| As children grow up in church, they are taught biblical stories as early as preschool that teach important lessons. But what if they could experience the bible rather than just hearing about it? ________________________________________________________________ Experiential Learning is the process of making meaning from direct experience. Incorporating theater into learning about the bible allows the children to create these direct experiences. When the children make the connection between the lesson and how it directly relates to them, they are able to really comprehend the bible and it’s purpose. The “Kidz of the Vine” musical theater ministry is designed to nurture students to become positive role models as they perform theater, dance and musical works! In each rehearsal, the teachers will emphasize important acting techniques while building self- confidence, respect for one another, and the importance of honoring God in all we do and say.
